| About: JAI RAM SINGH (born 1953, Ghazipur, UP) has completed graduation to Ph.D. from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. His Ph. D. was on the ‘City of Varanasi, 1941-1971, a study in the field of Contemporary Urban history’. Eminent Professor B. Qanungo was his Ph.D. supervisor. The thesis was examined at Pittsburg University, USA, and J&K University India. From 1979 t0 2013 was with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in different capacities. he has published six books and above 100 articles in different journals of the country and abroad. He Has attended a number of Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops. He Has done basic courses of Yoga and Personality Development also.Honored with ‘Ambedkar Ratna’ on 120th Jayanti of Babasaheb; ‘Shiksha Ratna’ in 2014’ and ‘Chandauli Ratna’ in 2016.Brought to light the DHANAPUR INCIDENCE, 1942Discovered the LADAI ka AKHBAR, 1918-19.
