The Institute is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India, to mark 75 years of Indian independence.
In order to celebrate the Constitution Day of India, Raj Bhavan, Himachal Pradesh and Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla are organising a national symposium on “भारतीय स्वतंत्रता के 75वें वर्ष में संविधान का मूल भाव / Spirit of Constitution in 75th year of Indian independence” on 26th and 27th November 2021 (Friday & Saturday). Honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh will be the Chief Guest on this occasion.
The inaugural event of the symposium will be held on Friday, 26th November from10 AM in the Pool Theatre of the Institute. It will simultaneously be streamed online on Cisco WebEx and the IIAS Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/IIAS.shimla/ )
