The Institute is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India, to mark 75 years of Indian independence. As part of AKAM, we have a Fellows’ Weekly seminar next week.

Professor Alok Kumar Gupta, one of our Fellows, will be making his Introductory presentation on ’19वीं सदी के गुजराती  और हिन्दी साहित्य में भारतीय चेतना‘ on Friday, 11th  March 2022 at 11 A.M . Professor Gupta will make his presentation from the Seminar Hall of the Institute. It will simultaneously be streamed on Cisco WebEx and the IIAS Facebook page.( https://www.facebook.com/IIAS.shimla/ )
