Dr. Anjali Duhan is an art historian and as a fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, she examines an imperial Mughal manuscript - Dvādaśa Bhāva. It is an illustrated Persian translation of a Sanskrit text which is assumed to be lost. However, she has been able to trace the story and the content of its paintings. The subject of this research is inclusive and multilinear, focussing on Mughal paintings and history, but is also concerned with religious and translation studies, and cross-cultural interactions in early modern India.
Dr. Sarver Kumar Chahal is a Fellow at Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla and teaches History at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana State (India). Coming from a very humble background, Dr. Chahal has distinguished academic career spanning over twenty six years. Familiar with many languages like English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi and Telugu, he has done his M. A., M. Phil. and Ph. D. degrees from M.D. University, Rohtak. He taught at M.D. University P.G.
Dr. Pavithran Nambiar has put 39 years service in Gujarat Police (India), and during this tenure, worked in different divisions of police department viz., State Reserve Police, Communication, Intelligence, CID Crime and Research. Along with his job, he pursued his studies and secured B.A., M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Gujarat University. He was conferred with the prestigious President’s Medal for Meritorious Service in 2003.
