About: Dr. Kamei Samson completed his MSW and Ph.D. (Social Work) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. After his Ph.D. He worked as a Researcher at Indian Social Institute, New Delhi. For a brief period, he taught in Lungnila Elizabeth College of Social Work (Manipur). He had been ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellow (2017-2019) affiliated to Manipur University. Before joining IIAS as Fellow he taught in the Social Work Department, Assam Don Bosco University (Assam). His interest areas include social movements, religion, identity studies, and social psychology.
