<\/strong>About: <\/strong>Ashutosh Bhardwaj is a literary critic,\u00a0\u00a0fiction writer\u00a0\u00a0and journalist. As a journalist, he has traveled across Central India and documented the conditions of tribes caught in the conflict between the Maoist insurgents and the police. He has investigated encounter killings, cases of political corruption and electoral malpractices. He is the only journalist in India to have won the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism for four consecutive years.\u00a0 In 2015, he was shortlisted for the Reuters\u2019 Kurt Schork Awards in International Journalism.
\nHe has published three books, including a story collection,\u00a0Jo Frame Men Na The;<\/i>\u00a0a book of essays on literature,\u00a0Pitra Vadh;<\/i>\u00a0a creative biography of Dandakaranya, The Death Script; besides several other stories, diaries, travelogues and critical essays. He has received the Krishna Baldev Vaid Fellowship for his innovative fiction and was a writer-in-residence at the Sangam House in Bangalore, 2012-13.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
His co-edited volume on the Indian chapter of diaspora literature will soon be in the press. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
