Research Project A Study on the doctrine of Rājadharma in the light of contemporary society with special reference to Sanskrit Literary Tradition.
About:Dr. Nibedita Banerjee is a Sanskrit scholar, presently working as a fellow at IIAS-Shimla. Her Ph.D. research explores the methodology of Navya-Nyāya language, which has been used as a tool in the Rasgaṅgādhara of Paṇḍitarāja Jagannātha. She worked as an assistant professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus. In Amrita, she used to teach value-based education and Indian culture to the various branches of B.tech & M.tech students. She worked as a research associate on a National Human Rights Commission funded project. She worked as a resource person at the Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, Ministry of Education. Dr. Banerjee worked for the Ānuvadini tool, the first Indian global voice & document AI tool under the Ministry of Education. She worked one year as a research assistant on a UGC-funded project on critical analysis of Nyayābodhinī with particular reference to the Navya-Nyāya language and methodology. She has published over 14 articles and conducted more than 7 national and international seminars and workshops. She knows five ancient scripts: Brāhmī, Nāgarī, Sāradā, Oriyā, and Grantha.

She is also very interested in Hindustani classical music, Rabindra Sangeet, Najrulgeeti, and art.
