| About - Dr. Shivendra Kumar Mishra is a fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla, working on a project on “Kashmir ShaivaDarshan Mein VarnitBauddhSiddhanton Ki Mimansha.” With ICSSR funding, he completed his post-doctoral research at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi in March 2025. His research expertise lies in Mahayana Buddhist Philosophy, focusing on “YogacharPhilosophy.” Dr Mishra’s academic credentials include a PhD in Buddhist Philosophy from BHU, where he submitted a thesis titled “VijnaptimatrataSiddhantkeVikas Mein Acharya VasubandhukaYogdaan.” He also holds a gold medal from the same university for his post-graduation (Acharya) in Buddhist Philosophy. Besides, Dr Mishra has twice qualified for UGC NET (Buddhist Studies). His research interests are reflected in his publications, which include articles on Yogachar philosophy, Mahayana Buddhism, and Buddhist thought. Dr. Mishra’s active participation in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, where he presents papers on Buddhist philosophy and culture, is a testament to his commitment to academic excellence. His engagement in these events demonstrates his dedication and keeps him connected to the latest developments in the field. His dedication to teaching and research activities further underscores his academic prowess.
