| About: Short journey in small footprints! In the history of IIAS, Aadya Dixit is the youngest fellow of this institute. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Amity University for her unique style of teaching. And before that, she was an exmember of the United Nations, posted to Syria as a senior assistant manager at the UNHCR. She completed her research at Oxford University. Master in Sanskrit literature as "Aacharya" from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi. Second Master in Political Science with special paper on international relations and feminism from Jiwji University. With a rank-holding career, she further completed two diplomas, one in travel and tourism management from the Ministry of Tourism New Delhi and another in Sanskrit Vyakran. She is the youngest graduate of Madhya Pradesh and 5th in India. She completed her UG when she was not even 18. In her academic career, she was state topper in her 12th, silver medalist in UG and gold medalist for the rest of her education. She presented more than 28 papers in various national seminars which were interdisciplinary in their manner, some on Yoga, some on Sanskrit Sahitya and bhartiya chetna, some on India's relations with other countries, some on naxalism and other internal problems faced by Indian democracy. Aadya is the author of 3 books. One is published by Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy and another under the PMYUVA initiative in Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Her third novel is under publication. She wrote articles in many national and state magazines published by government or by non-governmental publications. She is a blogger too who has the title of "बेबाक". Her areas of writing are mostly contemporary sociopolitical issues, analysis of human minds and emotions, and changing world order. She wrote poems, poetry, articles, stories, and novels. Aadya Dixit is awarded Balshree by the president of India for her creative writing. One of the highest honors in India after Padmshree. She is the Brand Ambessador of beti bachao beti padhao abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh Shasan. She received the highest youth award from 4 states, Sanghvari by Chattisgadh govt. Yuva kala ratn by Telangana govt. Yuva Pratibha by the Odisha Government, Governor Awarded by Madhya Pradesh Shasan. She represented India at the International Youth Festival in China 2017, where India won a gold medal in debate. She again represented India at the South Asian University fest SAUFEST 2018 by AIU in elocution and won another gold for the country. She is an international speaker. She won 8 national debates, 12 zonal literary quizzes and elocution, and a number of state awards. She has more than 2700 awards and rewards. Including Rashtriya Bhavbhuti samman by Sanskrit Academy and Rashtriya Balika samman by MHRD ministry and so on. She has also been part of Military training at army area in rajasthan Longevalan border under "Maa tujhe pranam" initiative. In 2021, she was listed as Outstanding Young Person Of The Year for India by JCI International. In 2024, she received "Rashtriya Yuva Ratn" from Rotary International. She was the anchor in doordershan for 11 years and 9 years in Akashvani. She was graded "A" by Prasar Bharti. She was a student activist too, as she won the student union election by the highest voting differences in Madhya Pradesh and became president of the largest girls' college in the state, which is KRG College. She is a Tedx speaker and has delivered many talks or lectures in a number of central and state universities across the country, including her home state MP, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Haryana, Delhi, UP, Karnataka, etc. sometimes as a chairperson or sometimes as a guest speaker. Her podcasts are broadcast on social media platforms as well. She is special invitation at the Young Thinkers conclave, Lokemanthan, Bhartiya Vichar Mnch, literature festivals, National Youth Parliament and other national events. She is a youth influencer who has conducted many rescue missions of child labor, human trafficking, the transgender community, and worked for women's safety. On other issues, she submitted her observations to the ministries for policy reforms. She considers herself a tiny social change maker. She is also a solo traveler who explores new cultures and tries to understand "भारत" as it is. Her full name is "Balshree" Dr. Aadya Dixit "Aacharya". |
