About:

Dr. Mansi is a Sanskrit scholar, presently working as a fellow at IIAS-Shimla. She earned her Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Sanskrit from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, where she conducted in-depth research on ancient philosophical texts, particularly focusing on Śaṅkarācārya's works.

Dr. Mansi's academic journey is marked by excellence, as demonstrated by her top grades and numerous awards, including the NET qualification and JRF awarded by the University Grants Commission in 2017. Her teaching career includes roles as guest teaching sessions at the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), which are constituent parts of the University of Delhi. Additionally, She has worked as an intern in the Indian Knowledge Systems Division, Ministry of Education, Government of Delhi for the academic year august-october 2023.

Dr. Mansi has a strong record of scholarly publications, with research papers featured in UGC Care-listed journals and book chapters contributing to the academic discourse on Sanskrit literature and philosophy. Her work includes topics such as the philosophical analysis of Pañcīkaraṇa and  Layayoga, as well as the environmental and ethical insights found in ancient texts like the  Yajurveda. She has also presented her research at various national and international conferences, including the 17th World Sanskrit Conference in Vancouver, Canada, and numerous seminars across India. Her  presentations cover a wide range of topics, from the educational techniques in the Bhagavadgītā to  the socio-cultural impact of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya's writings.

Beyond her academic and teaching endeavors, Dr. Mansi has actively participated in numerous workshops and lecture series, enhancing her understanding and interpretation of complex philosophical texts. These workshops, organized by esteemed institutions such as the Indian  Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) and the University of Madras, have focused on significant works like Tattvamuktākalāpa and Brahmasūtra. She is also interested in Shankara philosophy, Bhagavad Gita and Vedic literature.
